This original artwork is a part of Tracing Change, a group exhibition showcasing the work of artists from the Modern Times community and beyond. Tracing Change invites both artists and audience to trace back through thoughts and experiences, and experience a gratitude or curiosity for the ability to grow, transmute and transform.
“I consider the objects I use to create my moulds to be a land version of Jetsam. They are objects thrown away, discarded, and no longer wanted. I work to capture a memory of an object by using the imprint of plaster and the memory of porcelain clay. The object is no longer in my possession but is adrift in the world. The porcelain pieces are memories of a plaster imprint of them," says Burgham.

Kristin Burgham is a Melbourne based ceramicist working with industrial ceramic production processes and found objects. Her constructed ceramic assemblages reveal the legacy of unknown makers. Her works reveal process, practice and production by tracing making lines to expose the act of production. Burgham's works explore time, memory and loss.

Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds, exchanges or credit notes for change of mind on any one-off items which includes vintage furniture, original art and objects and made-to-order products. Our descriptions are as detailed as possible, but if you have specific needs or criteria, please ask us any questions and we will be happy to assist.
For any item that we hold repeatable stock of, we offer a limited return policy. This policy covers in-stock prints purchased in store, and some homewares and objects (return policy details can be found on individual product pages).

Do you offer click and collect?
Yes! Please select the option when checking out for pick up from our store on 311 Smith Street, Wurundjeri, Fitzroy. For larger items that require a vehicle, this entrance is the only access to our store. Unfortunately, we cannot offer assistance to your vehicle so please collect your items with this in mind.
