Terms and Conditions

All purchases made on sale items are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded, and there are no holds on sale items.
All online orders will be processed from 3 January, 2022.
From 3 January, some sale stock will be available to view in store. Remaining items will be located in our warehouse and can be viewed upon request in store after 9 January, so please speak to our team to arrange.
Local deliveries will commence from 9 January. Due to carriers on holidays, interstate deliveries may take up to 4 weeks.

FAQs

When does the sale begin and end?

Our Summer Sale runs from 12.01am 23 December 2022 to 11.59pm 3 January, 2023 – AEDT.

Why is the code not working at checkout?

The code VINTAGE15 is valid across vintage furniture and lighting only. It is not valid across contemporary furniture and lighting, original art, MT Editions, ceramics and objects.

Which items are on sale?

You can use the code VINTAGE15 at checkout across our range of vintage furniture and lighting. All other sale items are already marked down on the website so you do not require a code at checkout.

Are there exclusions?

Yes. Art, MT Editions and some objects are not included in the sale.

Can I use a store gift voucher online?

Unfortunately not, but when the showroom is back open we can assist you to use the voucher in store. Another option we can offer is for your online purchase to be refunded in exchange for your store gift voucher when the team is back to assist you.

Can I return a sale item?

Unfortunately not. All purchases made on sale items are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded, and there are no holds on sale items.

When will my item be delivered?

All online orders will be processed from 9 January, 2021 and you will receive an email with tracking details shortly after.

Am I able to view stock?

You can view same sale stock in store from 3 January. All other items are located in our warehouse. You can request to view the stock when the warehouse reopens on 9 January but if you wish to secure the piece you will need to purchase it online. As most of our pieces are one-off vintage finds, it’s first in best dressed!

Can I collect my items myself?

We recommend you use our professional shipping service for a safe and easy delivery. If you wish to collect yourself, please contact us to arrange. Please be advised our staff are not permitted to assist with lifting or loading furniture and Modern Times is not liable for any damage caused during the pick-up or transit of customer collections.

How can I contact Modern Times?
