Paper Daisy Lolly Snake Vase, Ceramic Vessel by Elizabeth Lewis.
This fun and vibrant vase is made using hand-building techniques and glazed with multiple glazes to Earthenware temperature. It has been sealed and waterproofed with Liquid Quartz.
Elizabeth Lewis’ ceramics are informed by hard-to-grasp feelings rather than concrete ideas, resulting in objects that explore emotions we don’t understand ourselves. Curiosity and unlikely symmetry preoccupies her work, with considered mediations on vivid colour that results in highly stylised vessels.
About the Artist:
Elizabeth Lewis is a Sydney based emerging artist, having completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours at UNSW Art + Design in 2020, with focus in the fields of painting and ceramics.
