The Pluvium umbrella stand was designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli in the 1970s in Italy, and it exudes a vintage Italian spirit. Pluvium translates to ‘rainy’ in Italian and this poetic charm extends to its function; each disc can be swivelled away from the centre to form a continuous spiral from top to bottom.
