Omann Jun Møbelfabrik A/S is a family owned business, founded by Andreas Omann in 1933. Initially, the company focused on producing bedroom furniture and later added dining room furniture and shelving systems. Many of the company’s products were designed by family members, the most collectible of which, by Gunni Omann.

In 1979 Bjarne Omann took over the company from his father and expanded the line to include office furniture. In 2005 Ulrich Omann took over leadership of the company from his father Bjarne Omann.
