Mark Alsweiler

Mark Alsweiler (b. 1983, Invercargill, New Zealand) is an artist based in Melbourne, he works across drawing, painting, and sculpture. Paper figure cutouts and hard-edge painting methods are used to primarily construct acrylic on panel paintings.

He graduated in 2005 from Otago University in Dunedin, New Zealand with a BA in Design. He has exhibited widely in Australia, New Zealand, and San Francisco.

Mark’s work is vibrant, joyful and instantly recognisable. He does regular illustration and design work for the RVCA Artist Network Program, of which he is also a member.
