This piece is part of Radiant Dreams, a group exhibition showcasing the work of more than 50 artists from the Modern Times community. Radiant Dreams invited our artists to unleash their most vibrant work, embracing colour, movement and verve. The resulting works are a buoyant collection reflecting optimism, energy and hope as we emerge from the monotonous routine of lockdown.
“I am trying to approach making objects indirectly to find reality rather than an ideal. So, there is a sense of withdrawal or withholding which can be seen as a sense of letting go, and not knowing. Which is rather counter to our current culture, where knowledge is the cure to every ailment. A Trilogy of Four Parts breaks down simple structures, melding together, in the hope of movement forwards,” says Fleming
About the Artist:
Liam Fleming started blowing glass at the age of 16, undertaking work experience in a private studio in Adelaide. After completing his Bachelor of Visual Arts (Glass) at the University of South Australia in 2011, he was accepted as an associate at the JamFactory in 2012 and since 2015, he has been the Production Manager of their glass studio.
