Design Objects

• $15 flat-rate express shipping, Australia-wide.
• Please allow up to three days for your order to be processed.
• Please allow three to five business days for your Modern Times order to arrive.
• We want your order to arrive safely. If your order is unsuitable to ship via Australia Post, we’ll contact you to make alternative shipping arrangements via courier.

Art

• We use trusted couriers who specialise in transporting art.
• Shipping costs for framed artworks starts at $120 to metro areas.
• Please use our shipping calculator on each product page for estimates and we’ll contact you before processing your order to discuss final costs.
• We can safely crate framed artworks for international shipping.

Furniture

• Furniture is shipped by one of our trusted couriers. Please allow up to two - three weeks for your Modern Times order to arrive.
• Shipping costs for furniture varies by location. Please use our shipping calculator on each product page for estimates.

If you live outside a metro area or are purchasing something fragile, please only use our shipping calculator as a guide; we’ll contact you before processing your order to discuss shipping.

Please note, all delivery times may be subject to change. The team will be in touch if any delays occur to your order.

We are happy to offer an exchange or credit note for change of mind on full priced items within 14 days of purchase. If you are not 100% happy with your purchase or order with Modern Times simply call 03 9913 8598 or email us at [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and we can help you organise a return.

The customer is liable for all shipping costs. All returns must be in the as-sold condition.

All purchases made on sale items are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Furniture Returns

Sometimes it’s hard to know if it’s going to work at home so take advantage of our furniture return policy. If the product is not right for you please contact the team within 5 days of its arrival and we can arrange a return or exchange. The customer is liable for all shipping costs and items must be returned in the as-sold condition.

Applicable only on full priced items; all purchases made on sale items are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Christmas gifts exchange policy

Shop worry-free at Christmastime. We are happy to offer an exchange or credit for any gifts purchased after Nov 1^st if returned by the 30^th of January with proof of purchase and in the as-sold condition. If you require the exchange period to be extended please contact the team at Modern Times.

If in the unlikely event that the goods you ordered do not meet your expectations of quality, appearance or fail to fulfil their purpose, please let us know as soon as possible. We are happy to replace the product (or arrange a refund if no replacement is available) if the product does not perform the key function, or if there is another major problem.
